“ there's nothing left to say now.”

"Mm… I gotta work today. What time is it?" Corbin asked.

“ about 11..” he said and slouched back down into the blankets when he finished eating

"Alright… I'll get ready in a while, then." Corbin yawned and got more comfortable.

Cyrus curled around Corbin “ what to do while your gone..”

"Mm… I dunno. You could watch TV." Corbin shrugged.

“ I’ll be so bored..”

"Well… you're sick. You shouldn't be pushing yourself."

“ I knnnoowe “ he whinned

"So, you can sleep or something if you want. I'll be fine by myself for a shift, right?"

“ idk, I just hope that dude doesn’t show up the one night I can’t kick his ass”

Corbin shrugged a bit. "I'm sure I could figure something out. Besides, how would he know that you're not there?"

“ he wouldn’t but he might see you without me..”

"I guess so, but I can't just call off work because you're sick. I need money."

“ I know, just.. be careful okay?” He pleaded softly

"I will be. Promise." Corbin gently kissed Cyrus' forehead.

Cyrus gave Corbin a kiss and curled up closer to him

After a while, Corbin had to get up so he could get ready for work.

Cyrus curled up into the blanket, trying not to puke again. He wrapped his wings around hi,self when Corbin left

"Bye! I'll see you in a few hours." Corbin waved and headed off to work.

“ cya “ he said and kept in the blankets

A few hours later, Corbin returned, albeit a little later than he should have. He looked a little bothered and immediately curled up in his bed when he returned.

“ cori.. you okay?” Cyrus had woken up, after having fallen into a disstressed sleep.

"Mmmmnhhh…" Corbin buried his face in Cyrus' shoulder, clinging to him, but not really answering the question.

“ cori.. answer me..” he said softly, he was becoming more and more worried now.

Corbin looked up at Cyrus weakly, his cheeks a bit pink and splotchy. He could only look at Cyrus for a second or two before he hid his face again. "It's n-nothing… just… just a few random guys harassing me…"

"…" Cyrus looked ready to kill. " who?" He asked softly

Corbin shrugged, burying his face in Cyrus' chest. "I-I dunno, honestly… I'd never seen them in there before. My manager threw them out…"

" thats good, next time I'm coming with. Sick or not, I'll wear a mask"

Corbin sighed softly. "B-But you need to be resting, Cy… you shouldn't go out when you're so sick."

" yeah but I'm your guard, I should be there" he said softly
