“ there's nothing left to say now.”

Soon, they made it back to Corbin's apartment and he opened the door.

Cyrus flopped out onto the couch, pulling Corbin on top of him. He trilled softly to Corbin before wrapping his wings around the other

Corbin hummed happily and buried his face in Cyrus' shoulder, shifting his legs so he would be more comfortable. "Mmmm… I'm hungry…"

“What are you wanting?”

Corbin shrugged a bit. "Dunnoooo… I just know I'm hungry and I don't feel like going out again."

“Mmm.. how bout redneck pizza?” He asked with a chuckle

"Mmnh… what's that?" Corbin asked tiredly. "I don't think I've had it before…"

“ it’s basically pizza made from taco shells.”

"Um… okay. I think I've got taco shells somewhere."

“ so let’s get cooking.” He said and lifted them both up, still holding Corbin when he entered the kitchen

"Okay… how do we make it?" Corbin asked, resting his head on Cyrus' shoulder as he was carried into the kitchen.

“ we take a taco shell, place it on a plate, put some pizza sauce on it, cheese, toppings, and then heat it up in the microwave “ he said softly

"Okay…" Corbin kept his head on Cyrus' shoulder, content to watch as his boyfriend made their makeshift dinner.

Cyrus put the pizzas into the microwave and waited till they finished

Corbin yawned and closed his eyes, starting to relax in Cyrus' arms.

Cyrus held Corbin close, wrapping his wings around them.

Corbin looked up again when the microwave dinged. He yawned again, rubbing at his eyes.

Cyrus took the plates out, sitting down

Corbin looked at the plates curiously, humming softly to himself.

“ here, since you’ve never had them I wanna see your reaction. “

"Um… okay…" Corbin seemed a bit hesitant as he picked one up and took a bite. He hummed thoughtfully for a few seconds. "It's not bad."

“ right? My mom used to make these for me..”

Corbin nodded a bit and kept eating, humming softly to himself.

Cyrus ate for a bit. Yawning afterward.

"Mmnh… we should probably go to bed soon." Corbin said softly.

“ yeah, want me to Carry you?” He asked kindly

Corbin nodded sleepily and wrapped his arms around Cyrus, burying his face back in his shoulder.

Cyrus picked the other up, walking to the bed and laying him down. Cyrus slipped into a pair of shorts to help cool off and cuddled up to Corbin.

Corbin huddled up with Cyrus, tucking his head under his chin with a soft hum. It didn't take him long to drift off to sleep.
