Corbin whined louder, clearly not convinced. "But what if I doooon't…"

" then I will pin you underneath me and kiss you till you do" Cyrus said softly

"Mmmm… I don't think I really wanna be pinned either, to be honest."

" so you'll go." He said with a laugh

"I mean, I don't really have much of a choice."

“ I mean, I don’t hurt when I pin. You just can’t move. “ he joked

Corbin shrugged a bit. "I dunno… I'm just worried."

“ don’t be, I won’t let any harm come to my lil crow, “ he said and kissed Corbin’s head “ it’ll be fun.”

"Mmmmnh… are you sure?" Corbin asked nervously, resting his head on Cyrus' shoulder.

“ yes I’m sure.”

"Okay… I guess we should get going soon, then…"

“ yeah, “ he said and stood up

Corbin held tightly to Cyrus' hand as he followed him out.

Cyrus chirped at Corbin. “ you’ll be fine.”

Corbin whined softly in reply, still not convinced.

Cyrus picked Corbin up and flew them to the training grounds. A ashy blonde and and brunette met them there, though the brunette seemed to stay just as close to Cyrus as Corbin would.

Corbin seemed uneasy when the brunette stayed close to Cyrus. He held tightly to Cyrus, drawing his wings up and looking pretty nervous.

Cyrus noticed, taking Corbin’s hand and giving him a soft smile “ this will be fun, “ he said encouragingly. As they got out onto the field the four split up onto two teams, Cyrus and the brunette and Corbin with the Ashy blonde. The first one to speak was Cyrus’s partner “ this is a flight test game of vollyball, my names keigo, the dumbass beside you is asra.” He said to Corbin

Corbin whined softly when he was separated from Cyrus, looking very nervous. He definitely didn't look reassured to hear that it was both volleyball and a flight test. "B-But I'm… I'm not very good at flying… or sports…" He replied nervously. He fidgeted with his wings, his heart pounding hard in his chest.

Asra gave an encouraging smile to Corbin “ come on kid! You got this!”

Corbin didn't look very confident, still very fidgety and pale. "B-But I… I'm gonna let you down… I'm not very good."

Asra seemed to flinch a bit, bending down about a good inch tomcorbins level “ you know Cyrus used to be as scar3d as you to fly? Now look at him, he ain’t scared of shit!”

Corbin cowered a bit, struggling to make eye contact with Asra. "But… Cy is better than me. He's good at flying, and I… can't stay in the air very long at all."

“ then rely on me, hold onto my hand when you feel tired”

"Okay… but won't that make it hard to play volleyball? I-I don't even really know the rules…"

"Okay…" Corbin looked over to Cyrus nervously, his wings puffing up a bit. "I don't like being against Cyrus…"

“ just, don’t worry about it, “ asra said and looked over to the others. Cyrus seemed pretty off beat to the other boy being that close to him.

"Um… how do we start, then?" Corbin asked softly, glancing back up at Asra.

“ Cyrus, wanna do the honors?” Asra asked as they all took flight. Cyrus served the ball into the air and watched as keigo bunted it over.
