To Gay or Not to Gay; That is the Question (one on one//closed)

"Great idea. I hope I get restationed soon."

"Does that mean you'd have to move?" Vien asked, now suddenly concerned. Vin wouldn't just pick up and leave, would he?

"No. We'll go to separate sites when we're done with the one we're working on."

"Oh, okay," Vien said, nodding as he spoke. That made a bit more sense

Vin grinned. "Don't worry. I'm not moving away from you."

"Yeah, I know." They eventually reached the Denny's, prompting a sigh of relief from Vien. "Oh thank god, food and coffee await."

"Yep." Vin walked in and inhaled deeply. He jumped as someone greeted them. "Hi! Welcome to Denny's! Two?"

"Yep," Vien said, chuckling a little as Vin was startled

"Alright! Follow me." The lady grabbed two menus and led them to a booth.

Vien rolled his eyes before mimicking her without actually speaking. He hadn't had his coffee and it was too early for peppy people

Vin glared at him and nudged him a little firmer than he normally would've.

Vien stuck his tongue out at Vin before sliding into the booth

Vin sat across from him and picked up his menu.

Vien grabbed his menu as well, skimming over it for a long moment

Vin looked for the drinks and decided to get a lemonade. He really needed to start eating healthier.

Vien ordered a coffee for himself before returning to browsing the menu. "The waffles look good," he commented absently

"Hmmm… maybe." Vin answered idly while looking through the healthier portion of the menu.

"You know what? Waffles it is," Vien decided before setting his menu down. He reached for his coffee, pouring a generous amount of creamer in it before taking a sip

Vin contemplated a couple carb-free options and didn't respond.

Vien leaned forward a bit, curious to see what Vin was looking at. "What's taking you so long? It's just breakfast."

"Just looking at my other options." Vin mumbled while still contemplating.

"Fair point," Vien hummed before taking another drink of his coffee

Vin soon chose and set his menu down.

Vien put his menu down as well, taking Vin's and setting them neatly at the edge of the table

Vin put his hands together and started whistling gently, looking around the restaurant.

Vien chuckled a bit as Vin started whistling. "That's sort of adorable," he said with a smile

"Hmm? Whistling? How's that cute?" He turned his gaze onto Vien.

"Not sure. Everything you do is cute. Or hot. Or both," Vien said as he grinned

Vin rolled his eyes and a grin bloomed across his face. "Same to you."

"Of course. I like to think I'm at least hot in just about everything I do," Vien said with a small laugh
