Laurie giggled. “I don’t have anything, silly!”
Urban/Modern Magic and Fantasy Roleplay!!
Pauka reached through Laurie's hair, finding her ear and blowing into it.
Laurie burst out laughing. “Wait— I do have something!” She concentrated hard, summoning a small glass container filled with golden liquid. She dabbed her finger in it, painting two shimmery dots in Pauka’s cheeks.
Pauka touched his cheeks and his hands (paws?), came out glittery. He chirped excitedly and darted to the top of Kanoa's head, painting her forehead with the glitter from his hands.
Laurie laughed again, offering a bit to Kanoa. “I—It’s an old Faerie mix I was swapped with. I use it for tattoos, my needle’s back at the dumpster.”
(Good morning!)
"Cool!" Kanoa smiled, "Ace has tattoos."
“Maybe I could meet him some time?”
"Maybe you could." Kanoa smiled, "I don't know, though. The last time I saw him was two years ago, when he was 17 and with his boyfriend Kameo. I guess they're just traveling the seas right now."
(STOP BREAKING MY HEART)
Laurie followed Kanoa inside. “What does the sea look like?”
"It's really blue, but sometimes it's gray and sometimes it's silver and gold when the moon and sun come out and it's calm, but it's also angry and oh my god, it's so beautiful!"
Laurie tilted her head, trying to imagine this. “It sounds amazing..”
"It is!" Kanoa ran a hand through her hair, trying to finger-brush the tangles, "I should totally take you one day!"
Laurie smiled widely. “That would be nice… What do you want to do?”
(Nail painting?)
(sure)
Kanoa laughed, "We're going to a party, silly! Maybe at night, I can show you the sea!"
Laurie tilted her head. “Isn’t it far?”
"Not with magic!"
“I’m not sure I understand, but whatever it is I like it.”
Kanoa smiled and went inside of the door, "Now let's change!"
Laurie followed happily, heart fluttering contentedly.
Kanoa rushed inside of her room, "Change in the bathroom, will you?"
Laurie complied, slipping into the gorgeous dress.
Kanoa grabbed her dress from the closet, it was a black form-fitting dress that had a long train. The dress was covered in small white gems that mimicked stars. It had a sweetheart neckline and when she spun, it billowed out like a princess's dress. Kanoa smiled, she and Rayni had coordinated their dresses, so Rayni had an exact copy, just white.
(Whoah that sounds so pretty!)
Laurie studied herself in the mirror, tentatively twirling and smiling as the sift fabric swished around her ankles. It’s gorgeous., she sighed happily. The prettiest thing she’d ever owned.
Kanoa knocked the bathroom door, "Makeup time?"
Laurie opened it for her, smiling shyly. “Sure!”
Kanoa gasped, "You look fine girly!"
(How do you use bold?)
Laurie blushed purple, eyes widening when she saw Kanoa. “Th-thank you! And you look gorgeous!”
"Thanks!"
(You do this for bold, just without spaces, ** fine *, and this for italic bold, just without spaces, ** fine ***)
