She tried to sit up but just ended up wimoering in oain
Vanessa and Brink
Brink maneuvered behind her and held her against his chest. He pressed a kiss to her hair and rested his head back on the headboard
Vanessa whimpered once more
“It’s okay baby.” He murmured, gently wrapping her in his arms and kissing her shoulder
She soon relaxed back into him after a few more whimpers
“There, much better. Now drink.” He nodded towards the cup
She took the cup from him and drank it all and handed the cup back to him with a disgusted face
Beinked laughed softly and set the cup down in the table next to the bed. “And that’s why I brought these.” He rested the box of chocolate on her lap and took one out from its place
"baby…?" She asked
“Yes my kitten?” He rested his head on her shoulder and glanced at her in worry
" what if he comes back" she asked
He thought for a moment, knowing she probably didn’t want to here the first idiotic thing that came into his head. “I’m not sure.” He said softly “we can always put a bullet in his head but I don’t think his mom would like that very much.”
" what if I just went with him you'd all be safe" she said
“That’s not an option Ness.” He said, eyes cast away
" youd be safe" she said
His eyes saddened slightly “I don’t really have high regards for my own safety when it comes to you and the kids my cat.” He murmured
" it would keep the kids safe" she pointed out
“You’re not going with him.” He said, “we can keep the kids safe, together until they learn.”
"he won't stop until he gets me and that's not safe for your family"
He turned to look at her, eyes filled with pain "your my family ness, the kids need you as much as I do."
She smiled gently and flick some of his hair out of his face" I love you"
He shut his eyes and gently leaned into her touch "I love you more, kitty cat."
She smiled and kissed him gently
He hummed softly and cupped the back of her head, gently tugging her closer to his body
She smiled against his lips
“My beautiful cat,” he murmured, setting aside the chocolates and laying back down on the bed, gently pulling her with him
"when will the kids be back?" She asked
“Jacks brought them with her to the breakfast cafe down the road. They should’ve back in a half an hour.” He said, looking over at clock
She nodded " I haven't seen them in a couple days"
He sighed softly and stroked her cheek “you’ll see them soon munch kitty cat.”
