Voltron Legendary Defender (OC'S ONLY)

Zanna glares at Shiro, "Yes her. Don't say her name. It only brings bad luck."

Shrio nods, kneeling next to Alex, "Hey, easy kid. It's okay. She can't get you here." Alex sobs into Zanna's shoulder, his eyes screwed tightly shut.

Zanna held onto him, "Shiro's right you know. She can't get to you. I won't let her."

Alex nods slowly, his breathing becoming shuddering gasps. He calms down, holding onto Zanna.

Zanna waits till he calms down to move or say anything.

Alex calms down, his breathing finally even only breaking every once and a while with soft sniffles. he felt scared, not daring to move, but at the same time comforted. "T-thank you…" he whispers.

"It was my pleasure," Zanna tells him, "I'm here for you."

He nods, slowly pulling away, wiping away his tears.

Zanna looks at her own shaking hands. She couldn't tell if it was from anger or being scared.

He was quiet for a moment before saying softly, "I'm… I'm sorry.."

"It's okay," Zanna told him, "No wrongs were done."

He nods, half of his body invisible due to his cloak. He sighs softly, guilt washing over him.

Zanna leaned back, Four years with Haggar must have been awful. She suppressed her own memories. She had only broken out of Haggar's grip three months ago, and it had been a lifetime of Haggar for her.

Alex stands, slowly and shakily, "I'm… I'm gonna get some rest…" he whispers softly. Each of the paladins nod before he leaves. Pidge looks towards Shiro. "He was with Ha- her for four years?" Shiro shrugs, "I was only with her for one and it was a living hell…"

"Try 16," Zanna muttered to herself.

Keith looks towards Shiro, "He reminds me of you a bit." he says. Shiro nods, "Maybe."

Zanna sighed she looked towards the paladins and then Alex, "This is going to be interesting."

Alex had curled up with his back to the paladins. He made sure his breathing was even and gentle, hoping they would think he was asleep. His eyes were shut, he was so scared, so nervous…

Zanna hoped that Alex had actually fallen asleep. She needed rest as well, but wasn't tired at the moment.

The paladins were talking quietly among each other. Shiro was quiet before he looks towards Zanna. "In the morning, we'll see if the lions open up to you." He says.

Zanna nods, "I'll head to sleep then if nothing else is going to be discussed."

Lance nods, "Go ahead and get some sleep kids. You've got a long day ahead of ya." He says, giving a charming smile.

Zanna yawned and walked over to where Alex was. She laid down near him, but not next to him.

Alex could feel the other nearby and he tensed, before slowly relaxing. He shut his eyes. Maybe tonight would be okay. He wouldn't have any nightmares.

Zanna's eyes shut, her breathing evened out and she entered the stars in her mind.

He sighs, letting sleep overtake him, screams of the past echoing in his mind.

Alex twists in his sleep, twitching every once and a while, but his eyes refused to open. He growls under his breath, falling still for a moment.

Zanna's eyes opened in the starry plane. She knew her body would rest, but here she could relax and let down the walls she had spent so long building up.
