“Yes I did. And you chose something that fit that perfectly. Thank you,”she replied.

She blushed slightly at his kiss, grinning wide. Then, she took the plate and started eating, making sure to avoid dropping any crumbs all over the place.

Amelia watched, giggling as Keigo fed Toaci.

Amelia snickered as Toaci waddled off. When she had finished eating, she also noticed how late it was. It seemed like they had been hanging out only a few hours to her, and yet it had been an entire day!

She pondered what to do, but found herself stuck once more in a pit of indecision. She should probably check on her ship, though she doubted anything had changed, but she didn’t want to leave. She wanted to stay with Keigo the entire month of traveling, and longer. Oh, what was she going to do?

Amelia smiled.

“Oh, I know. And I’ve been debating checking on my ship, but I doubt there’s anything different waiting for me.”

When he pulled her close, she melted in his arms, savoring the kiss.

Amelia thought about his question, considering the multiple meanings it could have. She decided her ship could wait.

“No. I am staying right here,”she purred, smiling.

She then kissed him, her arms tenderly wrapping around him, her hands caressing his shoulders.

A shiver passed up her spine and she moaned. Amelia chuckled a bit, her breathing becoming heavier, and she rubbed a hand up and down his back.

Amelia stared back at him, torn between staying modest or succumbing to the tempting thoughts of kissing him again and again. She licked her lips.

“I can’t believe I’m asking this, but I can’t decide. Should we keep this at a kiss or go beyond, modesty be damned?”she asked.

Her mind was already leaning toward the latter, but she wanted to hear his answer.

Amelia moaned again, chuckling. Her fingers started to claw at him, lifting his shirt so that she could caress his back. She broke the kiss after a moment, kissing his jaw then his neck, then nibbling on his ear.

Amelia lay next to Keigo, her head on his shoulder, her fingers lightly tracing random patterns on his bare chest. She giggled occasionally as her breathing slowly steadied, having no idea what to say about what had just happened.

Amelia smiled, giggling.

“Wonderful. I just don’t think words are adequate enough to describe all of this,”she replied, just as quiet.

Amelia leaned into him, smiling.

“Are you?”

“I’m glad,”she said, chuckling.

She lightly kissed his shoulder, sighing contentedly.

Amelia smiled,”Love you too, my brave, cuddly man.”

She wrapped her arm around him, snuggling her head against his shoulder. She closed her eyes, though she remained quite conscious.

His yawn inspired her and she fell asleep not long after he did.

Amelia stirred slightly when Keigo got up, but quickly fell back asleep. When she finally woke, she had no clue of when it was, but she realized she was alone.

For a moment, sadness crept up on her, but she then remembered where she was and what had happened last night. Amelia giggled to herself.

She then got dressed, hesitating a moment before stepping out into the ship. She took a deep breath and headed to the gallery, hoping to grab a snack before either finding Keigo or visiting her ship.
