"I don't know," Aliana responded a little out of breath, "You're the one leading us!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta grinned. "So I am! So where Are we going first?" he cocked his head.

@ShadeStar

Aliana paused for a moment, "TO get supplies? That's what you said and then some well. How do you not know where we're going?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Ah, that's right!" Hatta grinned, and took a sharp left turn.

@ShadeStar

Aliana stumbled for a moment before following after him. She was going to need all the patience she could get to deal with this mad hatter.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta grinned again as they walked, humming again and wagging his head from side to side.

@ShadeStar

Aliana let them walk in silence for a bit, well him walk her kind of run, before she asked, "Why do you live alone in the woods?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta glanced at her. "Oh! Because they don't like having madmen in town." he replied with a grin. "It tends to….spoil things."

@ShadeStar

"I can understand that," Aliana responded slowly, "But you didn't try to fight against them or anything? Just accepted your life in the woods?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta shrugged. "Dear, I'm going mad." he replied with a smirk. "Of course I accept it."

@ShadeStar

"You're going mad?" Aliana looked at him each word coming out slowly Her eyes grew a little wide, "I thought you were mad."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Going mad, actually mad, it's the same thing." Hatta shrugged one shoulder elegantly. "In the end, the result is the same."

@ShadeStar

"But the stage is different," Aliana pointed out, "The end is the same, but you are still by all definitions slightly sane."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta cocked his head. "It depends on your definition." he replied with a shrug. "I am going insane, and nothing will change that."

@ShadeStar

"At least your well aware," Aliana commented. She would hate to just start losing her mind and not even know, "I'm sorry I keep asking questions."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta shrugged. "Awareness is worse. Awareness means I feel it as my sanity slips through the cracks and never comes back."

@ShadeStar

"Oh," Aliana went silent for a moment, "That sounds awful."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta shrugged again, and began to whistle. He adjusted his hat, and sped up again, not wanting to talk anymore.

@ShadeStar

Aliana let out a sigh as she started to run to keep up with Hatta. She thought for a moment before asking him, "Can you not walk so fast? I can barely keep up."

@ElderGod-Icefire

(gtg to bed now. Good night!)

Hatta sighed, and slowed down. "Alright, fine."

@ShadeStar

(Okay Night!)

Aliana gave him a little smile, "Thank you."

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shrugged again, adjusting the collar of his tailed coat. No one could have said that the Hatter didn't have style. A very colorful style, but style.

@ShadeStar

Aliana adjusted her backpack and then the hat once more. She started to softly hum to herself as they walked, it would help pass the time.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta led her along the road, and into town. He began to whistle again, that strange almost offkey tune.

@ShadeStar

Alianaglanced about the town as they entered. She was immediately looking for all the quick ways to get out if something went horribly wrong, which knowing her luck, it most likely would.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta whistled again, leading her into a little shop. "Hare!" He exclaimed. "I have to buy things again!" He reached into his coat, and pulled out a hat. "And I brought you something."

@ShadeStar

Aliana stepped into the shop and looked around. Then Hatta pulled out a hat, and she was so sure that things were going to go down hill from here.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The Hare looked at Hatta, and took the hat. "What does this one do?" He asked, turning it over.

Hatta flared his eyes wide. "Why nothing, of course! However, if you have a spare teacup? No, nevermind." He pulled a teacup from his sleeve, and took the hat back. He pulled on the tassel, and tea spilled from it and into the cup. "It makes tea. If you're thirsty." That crazed grin was back.

The Hare blinked rapidly. "I…I see. Well…thank you, I suppose." He said, slowly taking the hat and teacup.

@ShadeStar

Aliana watched the interaction from the back in silence, covered in her muted colors. That's how she had been trained back home, stay in the back remain unseen and unknown. It was so different compared to the vibrant energy this man brought with him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The Hare sighed. "What do you need, Hatta?"

Hatta winked, clasping his hands behind his back and walking around the shop. "Supplies. For a trip."
