Hatta woke up, shaking his head and blinking blearily. What had happened?
Aliana groaned as she slowly came to her senses. The first thing she noticed was the cloth tied around her head and in her mouth like a horse's bit. Then the ropes tying her hands together behind her back making her skin and the following pair tying her feet to something. Her heart sped up as she tried to remember what had happened.
Hatta looked around. "Aliana?" he called, frowning when he didn't see her.
(would you like me to do the kidnappers?)

The room was pitch black, wherever she was, and she couldn't tell if Hatta was nearby. The cloth in her mouth made it hard for her to talk at all and her heart raced as she started to hear footsteps heading towards where she was.

"Finally awake?" asked a voice in her ear as the voices came closer.
Aliana jumped in the chair she was tied to. Her head turned to wherever the voice came from.
The voice chuckled softly. "Good."
Aliana blinked trying to see who it was as she tried to say, though difficult, it made it out, "Who, who are you?"
"No one important."
Aliana only felt her heart speed up further from that, "Where, where am I?"
"Nowhere you need to know about."
Aliana swallowed and looked at him, at least she hoped so, "What, why did you, why did you take me?"
The man chuckled dryly. "Reasons."
Aliana went quiet after that. This man wasn't telling her anything, and, and Hatta wasn't around.
The man crouched, letting out a breath.
Aliaa shuddered slightly as she felt the man get closer. She swallowed again and built up what courage she had, "What, what, what do you want?"
"Nothing you can provide." he replied.
Aliana stopped responding again her mouth aching from the stupid cloth in it. She, did he want Hatta? Then why take her?
The man shook his head slightly. "What do you know of the Jabberwocky?"
The Jabberwocky? Aliana thought to herself. She hadn't been expecting that. Her mouth was sore but she spoke in fear of what he might do otherwise, "It's, it's a creature of madness that, that wants to destroy wonderland."
"Close, but not quite." the man stood, shaking his head.
Aliana was confused, that's what it was. That's what she and Hatta were trying to prevent. She swallowed again, "What, what do you mean?"
"Madness, not really. It causes madness, so many take it to be a form of madness, but that isn't what ti is."
