“I made toast.” She grins at his form.

Havenwood flopped back down onto his back with another groan. “Wake me up when I’m dead.”

“Don’t say that.” She pokes his side. “Do you want some or not?”

“nO!”

“Guess I’ll eat it, then.” She shrugs and starts eating his piece, grinning all the while.

Havenwood relaxed again into the bed, slowly drifting off again.

“Okay.” She shrugs, giggling softly.

Havenwood jolted back awake at her voice. “Hmmwhat?”

“I was just saying okay.” She grins.

Havenwood grunted softly and relaxed again. Sighing, he fell asleep again.

She smiled softly at his sleeping form, grinning at him, then to Thelisi.

Thelisi was giggling away, raising his little arms up and down.

Elise’s grin grew wider, and she kissed the infant on the top of his head.

Thelisi grabbed her nose, giggling more.

“Little thief.” She took his hand away and balanced him on her leg, beginning to sing softly.

Thelisi started to lean out of her arm, giggling softly.

"You want Havenwood?" She grinned, placing Thelisi in the crook of his sleeping arm.

Thelisi fell unsteadily against his father, who snored gently. Thelisi giggled and took a handful of Havenwood’s hair.

Elise smiled, rolling over on her belly to keep watch on the two.

Thelisi tugged, which jolted Havenwood out of his sleep with a snort. “WhhAT?”

Elise laughed, running a soft hand along the side of his face. "He wanted you to wake up."

Havenwood sighed and relaxed against Elise’s hand. “He sure did.”

She grinned at the two, rolling over onto her back next to them.

Thelisi leaned back into the bed, yawning.
Havenwood set his head back down in his arms with a gentle sigh.
