Tessa gave him a look before continuing. "But what will people think of me? You just said how bad we were." She gestured to the dragon creature. "I don't want people to be scared or mad at me. How am I supposed to explore the world when it's against me." She replied softly.
"Dude. The world isn't against you."
Tessa mumbled. "How would I know, the elders always taught us that we'll never fit in with the outside world. That's why I've never been here before."
"Well, that's bullshit. Personally, I'm quite fond of elves. My mother's an elf." Arrelum said.
"Forget the elders. They're usually wrong anyway. Come on!"

Tessa looked shocked at what he said before nodding nervously. "Um ok then." She replied before looking around. "So where are we going?" She asked.
"To my shack. Godmom is cooking up some supper for folks." Ruiah started off down the lane. "This way!"
"Sounds cool." Arrelum followed, skipping happily after Uriah.
"Whats Godmon?" She asked as she followed them and surveyed the land which looked kind of like her land.
"A godmother. You know…" He gestured. "Someone who's present at your baptism and promises to take charge of your religious education. Anywho, my parents died and I went to her and she's pretty cool for a 86 year old cook."
Tessa looked very confused. "Whats Baptism and what is this godmother?" She asked in curiosity.
"A baptism is when you get like initiated into a religion. Godmom's a badass."
Arrelum smiled. "I can't wait to meet your badass Godmom," they said happily.
"What are your religions?" She asked once again, she had so many questions about the outside world.
Arrelum tilted their head thoughtfully. "I don't belong to a specific religion. I believe that there is a greater being than us, maybe a it's a god, or maybe it's a puppet master and we're on the end of his strings." They waved their hands dramatically. "But I don't believe I owe it to anyone to thank them for my existence or to get on my knees and pray."
Uriah nodded. "Interesting. Right this way!"

"You need food!? I'm the one who lives on the streets if anyone needs food it's me!" Scale exclaimed, she was quickly becoming fond of this cat like human and her childish tendencies
