I stood up and started to walk away from the Mountain Pass.
Lupus groaned before pulling himself to his paws and trotting after Sofie.

“Are you alright?” I asked.
"Yeah, just tired." He had to pick up his pace some in order to keep up with the larger wolf.

“We slept all night, for longer than usual. Are you sure you are okay?”
Lupus nodded. "Bit sore from the whole forcefield thing yesterday."

“Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Right. Okay. Let’s keep going I guess, we will find food on the way.”
Lia walked behind the two seemingly forgotten as she picked her way through the leaves
"Okay." Lupus slowed his pace to walk beside Lia quietly, glancing around for food.
Lia flicked her tail at the pups hunting, his feet crashed through the undergrowth, "Ok pup i know your a pup but your scaring everything in a two mile radius with your walking so just stop walking."
Lupus halted and sat down, looking around from where he was. Nothing… nothing… nothing… is that something? No, that's a leaf…
"Use your eye's less and your ears more,"
He nodded, pricking up his ears and turning them in every direction. It was nearly silent in the forest, but he could hear a soft scratching from a nearby bush. He locked his eyes on it, and his ears pointed forwards at the bush.

I sat down as well, pricking my ears. I wasn’t listening for prey though. I was listening for predators.

(I named a dragon after Lupus because he kinda looks like a coyote and I couldn’t think of anything else. His sisters name is Coyote and then I was thinking they would have friends named Jaguar, Lia, and then I’m trying to think of something that sound so close to Adolfa…)

Lupus crouched and crawled forward nearly silently towards the bush. He paused before pouncing into it, coming back out with a mouse in his jaws.
