I smiled and called to Lupus, “You’re doing good!” But I was reluctant. Hunting wasn’t usually what I praised others on.
Lupus's tail wagged and he carried the mouse over to Sofie, dropping it at her paws.

I smiled awkwardly, “Good… job…” I clenched my jaw.
"Something wrong?" Lupus sat down and cocked his head to the side. "You seem… tense."

“No, it’s nothing. Nothings wrong.”

"Are you sure?" Lupus glanced down at the dead mouse.

“Yeah.” I imagined myself as a pup… The correct word is remembered. Wagging my tail as I jumped toward a dead mouse, suspecting it was sleeping. That was then. I thought, shaking my head.
"Well, come on then! Where to next?" Lupus's tongue lolled out of his mouth as he panted.

“We’re almost back your home, just a few more hours! This way!” I replied, trotting away (… if Lia joins and Byrd and Adolfa they can just bounce in whenever).
