I would say that most people consider a person losing their virginity as when the hymen tears? Idk for sure though

@_sleeby_rat_

I legit didn’t know what a hymen was until this chat bc I’ve got no experience in straight sex xD

I didn't know what it was until I watched Jenna Moreci's How To Write A Sex Scene video. 10/10 recommend btw for anyone looking into the dos and don'ts of doing the do. The newer video from 2019 is the better one

I cant watch it sadly because I'm only allowed on my school laptop… :(

and it's even better bc i actually already knew that it was meant sort of as a dirty joke that roughly translates to "pussy isn't a big deal"

THAT'S WHAT NOTHING MEANT!
So this scene from Hamlet goes from
"That's a fair thought, to lie between a maid's legs."
"What was that, my lord?"
"Nothing."
To
"That's a fair thought, to lie between a maid's legs."
"What was that, my lord?"
"Vagoosh."

My dude my pal I'm working on a musical based off of Much Ado (currently called 'Commotion Without Notion' bc why not) and I desperately want to work in a song about the different couples being horny and singing about how much they love each other and then their SO going "what was that?" and then the character singing goes "NoThInG!!" but I wanna keep it PG-13.
Do you see my dilemma?

Yeahhhh sorry 'bout that. So, on the subject of what we're actually supposed to be talking about, healthy and stable relationships? Not necessarily sexual but that does contribute to a lot of relationships and how they function so maybe we could all discuss writing that?

Healthy relationships are not difficult to write, I honestly don't understand why authors default to abusive.

3 main components:

  1. Honesty
  2. Communication
  3. Trust.

If one of those is missing or completely bonkers then you have an abusive relationship.
Also, most relationships do not start out with people hating or being mean to one another. That's not realistic. These days no one wants to chase after the so called 'one that got away'. Unrequited love is a useful trope to use as long as it is done right.

I also think that people give polyamory a bad rap. It does provoke some queries on morality, but I'm not against dissing it entirely (but relationships between only two people tend to be more functional, I will point out). I think it shouldn't be looked upon as purely evil but just different, and you should really only try and write it if you actually know what you're talking about and if you're like, really good at writing relationships tbh.
