Berlin plays up the different aspects of her personality to the fullest degree; she can seem like a complete different person depending on who she is around. She is hedonistic to an extreme degree and derives great pleasure from knowing that people like or idolize her. She would do anything to get her way and sees little issue with using manipulation or her body to get that. Her hedonism has also lead to her developing struggles with addiction, excessive sexual/romantic relationships, and lack of self control. Her self obsession gives her a mean streak; she takes it very personally if someone gets her way and will do whatever she feels is proper payback. Despite her chaotic nature, she is good at heart. She is aware that her way of life and morality is very flawed, but she does not know what she can do to change herself. When she does find it in herself to be genuine with someone she can be a deeply caring person who treats her friends as her equals. If you’re good to her, she has a deep desire to pamper you. She strives for a better life and tries to pick herself up but often finds herself defeated by the gravity of the problems she faces. A lot of her negative behaviors relate to her childish desire to be liked and gain attention caused by her young fame and odd family life. She wants to be liked and be a good person, but her sense of the world is warped. She’s never had a good role model and she’s well aware of that, but rejecting everything she’s ever known is not something easy.

Berlin came from a very wealthy family. Her dad was a corporate businessman who owns a successful chain of hotel resorts. He was married to a successful actress but they divorced soon after his affair with a housekeeper. Berlin was born early in their relationship, but her mother died of a heroin overdose soon after. Berlin's father was a successful man, but not a moral man. He was surrounded by immoral men who had let money and power corrupt them; they were just like him. He and several of his close associates had formed a pseudo-gang that held the goal of using whatever methods were necessary to bring more money to their names. He had no interest having a kid but knew it would look bad if he were to give up the child of his now-deceased girlfriend; the entire situation had tarnished his reputation enough already. His lack of interest in raising a child made him treat Berlin as more of an asset than a daughter. He forced her into the public eye at a very young age and turned a blind eye to the danger he surrounded her with daily. They fought constantly and Berlin's father saw no problem with treating her like she was an adult; he was not afraid to turn conflicts physical. He married a 19 year old model/actress when Berlin was 12; Berlin and her step-mother did not get along either, but she never did more than verbally engage with Berlin. Berlin's celebrity status first boomed in her young teenage years; she was featured in some major modeling gigs and quickly gained popularity. Her shoot into popularity along with her home life skyrocketed the amount of hedonism she saw in her daily life. Everyone around her drank heavily, partied, and experimented with drugs. She soon found herself doing the same. She slept around with much older men, partied every night, and began dabbling in various party drugs. She also started up a music career at this time and found herself in more and more clubs with more and more dangers. At 16, Berlin has a clothing and beauty line, a successful music career, and more money than any other teenage girl in the world. She also has an addiction to alcohol, an unhealthy relationship with sex, a dependency on drugs, and a fear that she will not live to see 20.

She is attending her first year at Heaven’s Gate Academy. She has received up to a freshman eduction at a normal school.

CONTEXTUAL FACTS:

Heaven's Gate Academy is an elite school that the main cast of this plotline attend. The purpose of the academy is to educate youth prodigies who the schools states "are the key to a bright future". While majority of these students do have a skill or talent, their high positions in society are a leading factor to why they are invited to attend. If the talent search program discovers a prodigy of less wealth and social status they can attend on a scholarship. Think Hope's Peak from the Danganronpa games. An elite academy for rich, talented kids to improve their skills.

Berlin wears a lot of revealing, urban, trendy, high end clothes. She wears a wide variety of colors but especially gravitates towards purple, black, white, and pink. She likes to dress very lavishly everywhere she goes and very rarely wears lounge clothing. Berlin only wears high end brands or one-of-a-kind things she´s had personally made for her. She likes to theme her clothing on the event that is happening. When dressing formally she likes to wear very tight dresses or skirts but occasionally strays from that style if she thinks another style is ¨trendy¨. Her goal with dressing is to flaunt sexuality and show off her 'model figure'.
