Ski would be considered an “Oracle sympathizer” which means she doesn’t believe Oracles should be kept in silence and killed because they supposedly pose a threat to society.

The main religion of the kingdom. As a Shifter and Oracle hybrid, she worships the gods Weímolai and Zirhu. Usually the most offerings she can give is meditation, prayer, and a lock of her hair.

Yeshe Mountains, Serothyn Kingdom, in the Ibotri sect

Yama, Ski’s sibling, taught her to read and write, as well as how to control her abilities. Sometimes they would have “learning days” where they would wander into a library and read all that they could, then leave and discuss what they read. It’s how Ski learned to sew and cook, aside from having Yama’s help.

Ski was raised in the Yeshe Mountains, with her sibling Yama. Their father was an Oracle which he was killed for, and their mother was a Shifter, and she was killed for marrying and having children with him. When they were young, they mostly lived in the streets and used their Shifter magic to survive. In that time Ski came across Jasper in captivity. They soon became good friends, meeting up with each other when they could and playing with each other using their magic, among other things. When Ski was around 13, Yama, who was about 18 at the time, started looking for ways to get money and bring them both out of poverty. This caused Ski and Jasper to drift apart, as Yama was eventually able to rent a small apartment for them by working odd jobs. For a while, Yama worked for some very shady people. Ski’s Oracle powers were well developed by this point, and she had a vision that these people would take Yama away and do something horrible to them. She begged Yama to work another job, but Yama refused, saying the money they provided them was the only thing keeping them from living on the streets again. One day, Yama never came back from work. Unbeknownst to Ski, the shady people had basically manipulated and used them for illegal underground Shifter battles. Ski tried to find them, but even following their scent was fruitless. Once food started running low, she had to find a job of her own. She ended up being a sort of bodyguard for the son of this wealthy Angel family, but after a few years, they got suspicious of her Oracle abilities. It got to the point where they had the police come and force her to try and make a prediction. Ski refused to cooperate, saying she couldn’t, and ran away. She’s living on the streets again, only this time she’s on the run.

As a Shifter, Ski has the ability to transform into a snow leopard. Her sense of smell and hearing surpasses that of a normal human, and she has some super strength. She also possesses Oracle abilities, being a hybrid. She can sense the future through her sense of smell and hearing, and occasionally through sight.
