Nature
ENTJ
focused; Leonard is extremely career-driven and motivated, finding it easy to complete tasks quickly thanks to his determination and willpower. Though he was privileged from birth, it is also due to Leonard’s resilient mindset that he has managed to build a drugs and arms dealing empire in the richest areas of England.
loyal; he puts family before everything, especially his brother, with whom he is extremely close. His family are the only people he is capable of forgiving, and sees it as an unbreakable bond. He also values his friends and colleagues, and is fiercely loyal to them. Of course, he expects the same in return from them.
ruthless; though he doesn’t seem to be at first glance, Leonard is extremely harsh and unforgiving. He will hold a grudge to the grave, and finds it difficult to move on with those whom he believed to have wronged him, even when they are truly sorry. He disregards all unspoken boundaries in his field, including harming children, and takes revenge over everything, no matter how small or petty.
Leonard is a dangerously intelligent businessman, skilled in his enterprise. He presents a well-meaning, respectable image to the wealthy residents (and clients) of Kent, disguising a downright cruel and manipulative reality. He takes no prisoners and knows no bounds to limit his successful, willing to do anything to stay at the top of a ruthless game.
On the other hand, however, Leonard is not a terrible person. He is pushed to release the extents of his cruelty in dire circumstances, however he is very relaxed and extremely loyal (especially to Harry Parkinson) and tries to avoid violence except when necessary. He is understanding at times, for example, when Andrew quit the business, but believes strongly in justice, and that he is doing the right thing by dishing it out.
- clucks his tongue when bored or annoyed
- before his imprisonment, he would chew sunflower seeds
- never does a trade without his lucky coin
- has a dimple in his right cheek when he smiles
- has a very loud laugh
- rocks back and forth during stressful situations
- also, hums/talks to himself to calm him down when nervous
Leonard is motivated by money. His affluent background, and more than fortunate upbringing in England, has accustomed him to a luxurious and privileged lifestyle. He loves it so much that he will fund it by whatever means necessary, and, as it turns out, he has a natural knack for arms dealing
Leonard's flaws are abundant; he is a cold, cruel, and manipulative man, unable to let go of the past. This often weighs him down, feeling upset or regretful due to his past actions, and finds forgiveness extremely difficult. He has no boundaries, or regard for the elderly or for children
Leonard hasn't got any preferences, though he is so accustomed to a wealthy lifestyle that he can be disapproving of those less well-off than him
Leonard is a talented liar, but is also a very skilled chef, and excels in the culinary arts. If you catch him in a good mood, you will find that he also gives great massages. His hands are very smooth, and smell like chamomile
Leonard's hobbies include cooking, swimming, reading (especially the classics), and bird watching. He loves to spend time in the rural English countryside
Has a stutter
Leonard is a very talented chef, knows most bird species common in the UK, and can run 100 metres in just under 12 seconds

Social
- Andrew Tupper; his best friend from boarding school and partner in crime (literally) who was like a brother to Leonard. Together, they built a drug-dealing empire, however Andrew left it all in Leonard’s hands when he quit to move to Ireland, afraid that he would suffer repercussions from the police. He is still in touch with Leonard, however, and his is one of the rare instances where Leonard has not sought revenge.
- Harry Parkinson; also his brother, Leonard is closer with Harry than with anyone else in the world. Now I will paste the information from the family section: they have a good relationship, though Harry was jealous of Leonard during childhood. Harry does not blame Leonard for getting him in prison, and the two stay in contact over phone calls. They have an extremely strong bond, which has only strengthened with time. In fact, Leonard is arguably the only reason Harry is in prison.
- Joan Harrington; a wealthy and genuinely well-meaning British politician and frequent customer of Leonard. She is extremely paranoid of her political opponents, and carries a gun for safety despite being a self-proclaimed pacifist. She relied on Leonard for guns and marijuana, to ‘calm her nerves.’ Shortly after Leonard’s arrest, she retired from politics, and now works as a university lecturer.
- Walter Price; a snarky but sincere childhood friend of Leonard’s turned customer, a priest with a heroin addiction. They didn’t talk much after they both graduated, but Leonard still gives him discounts on his products, and holds him close to his heart. He even has a tattoo of Walt’s initials behind his left ear.
- Michael Warner; not necessarily enemies, per se, more friendly competition. They ruled over different areas; England and New York, respectively, and actually met many times and had good, meaningful conversations. Under different circumstances, it could have even led to a friendship, but when they agreed to do a trade, the pair were arrested, and Leonard still believes that Michael set him up, ruining their positive relationship.
- None
Atheist, though the school he went to was Christian. He is, however, quite superstitious
Leonard leans towards the Conservative party, but isn’t involved in them. He tends to back whatever is ‘in’ with his clients.
Drugs and arms dealer
Honey orange, because it reminds him of autumn, and his childhood in america
Raspberry jam on buttered toast, which he ate every day at boarding school
His lucky coin (a rare 50p) which he found in a pawn shop and will now not do a deal without
A pistol, as it is handy and quick. Leonard tries to be as peaceful as possible
White tigers, because he adopted one when he was little
Drugs and arms dealer
History
15th October, 1967
London, England, during his parent's wedding anniversary, but he was raised in Washington DC
Privately educated abroad in England, where he would return from during holidays. This was a luxury that his brother was not lucky enough to receive due to his mother’s death. Leonard excelled at business and maths, but lacked in the arts department, especially English despite his articulation and advanced vocabulary
Though he was born in England, Leonard was raised in Washington as an American until the age of 9, when he was sent to an extremely posh boarding school in the UK. There, he was very popular, and active in many clubs including debate team and football. When his mother died, his father stopped contacting, and he stayed in England, becoming one of the school’s few full-time students. Though he remained in England, and would do for the rest of his life, he frequently messaged Harry, and would send him increasingly expensive gifts as he began to sell drugs to his classmates, neighbours, and even teachers. These rich buyers funded an elegant lifestyle, and helped Leonard to build a drug-dealing empire in one of England’s poshest regions. He later began to sell guns as well to an elite few, including drug lord Douglas Franklin.
One summer, already planning his bi-annual trip to visit Harry, Leonard was contacted by Douglas’ employee, Michael Warner, (on Douglas' suggestion) offering a drug trade for some guns and ammunition in return for excess marijuana that Michael had grown. Leonard accepted and flew over to the states early, but he and Michael were both caught and arrested by the police, where the pair were sentenced to 35 years each in prison. Leonard believes that Michael set him up, and forever holds a grudge against him. As a UK citizen, Leonard was placed in a maximum-security prison in London, and Michael was placed in Eastbrick Penitentiary, New York.
5 years later, an extra 10 years were placed on Leonard’s sentence after he repeatedly assaulted other inmates and even guards, and was moved to solitary. Desperate and depressed, he called Harry and asked a massive favour, which Harry loyally fulfilled. A free man thanks to his vulnerable prison chief, Leonard celebrated his first month of freedom by killing a bartender in a drunken brawl, and returning to the very prison he had just got out of. He remains in contact with Harry, and doesn’t blame him for being incarcerated again.
Family
- Vera Parkinson; a kind and supportive woman who took a lot of time to care for Leonard, but was less able to care for Harry due to her illness. She died of long-term breast cancer when Harry was four and Leonard was 11, which caused their father to be cold and withdrawn
- Sir Albert Parkinson; an old, respected surgeon and university professor. They had a good relationship during Leonard's childhood, when he was a promising student, but it crashed to the group after his mother's death. He hired a nanny called Aria to look after Leonard and Harry, which Leonard didn't like, but never brought up. They are not in contact anymore
