• aggressive; Harry tends to act first, think later, using violence as a means of solving conflict. He is proud of his strength, and searches for a means to display it, instigating fights for little reason other than to boost his ego

A brash and unpredictable man, Harry relies on intimidation and violence to solve problems, and finds it difficult to be calm and rational once he is upset. As a sensitive person, unfortunately, this happens quite a lot. He has little regard for those he is not close to, and speaks his mind without considering the consequences. He is, however, extremely loyal to his family, especially Leonard Parkinson, and genuinely cares about them. He has a good sense of humour, if you're lucky enough to catch him in a good mood

Harry is motivated by his strong sense of justice. He genuinely believes that he is a good person, and that he should take it upon himself to sort out any wrongdoings he witnesses other people doing (whilst ignoring/straight-up denying his own.) He believes that revenge is a good goal, partly influenced by his brother's beliefs, and considers violence to be warranted if somebody has upset you

Harry is very violent and aggressive, and doesn't consider the repercussions of his actions. He has a sort of superiority complex, believing himself to be better than everyone else, though he also feels insecure and less of a man than his brother, due to their different upbringings, so he strives hard to make Leonard Parkinson proud of him

Harry isn't really prejudiced against anyone, though, like his brother, he will hold a grudge until he dies. Sometimes Harry will say sexist or homophobic things to get a laugh, but doesn't realise that it is not a nice thing to say

He is very talented at playing the piano, which he first took up to manage his anger, and playing card games. He has an exceptional poker face, despite his temperament. Harry is also a very talented rugby player

He enjoys classical music and sports; the more aggressive, the better. Harry also likes to play card games, mainly blackjack, but he also plays poker. Once, he played a match with Pip Harper, who would later end up as cellmate

Harry has mild anger issues, though nothing professionally diagnosed

Has perfect pitch, as well as a high pain tolerance, and is very skilled at rugby. Can roll his tongue. Very quick fingers, which helps with his piano playing

• Pip Harper, his cellmate. Though they have fought before due to clashing opinions, they have since made up, and have a relatively good bond. They share jokes, and rely on one another for moral support. At times, he finds Pip to be immature, and Pip finds Harry overbearing and unstable [hence Harry being in Pip's enemies section; he likes him significantly less!]

• Oliver White, his physiatrist. Harry finds him to be very condescending and patronising, constantly judging his actions, though that is literally his job. Oliver finds Harry to be interesting, but is always on edge around him

• Michael Warner, who he believes to have set his brother up. Though they have not met in person, Harry carries this grudge with him wherever he goes, and swears revenge on Michael.

Privately educated; his parents were rich, especially his father, so they could afford to put him in all the best schools in spite of his low natural intelligence. He excels, however, at PE, especially rugby, and has a passion for classical music

Born in Washington to wealthy surgeon Albert Parkinson and his wife, Vera, Harry had a highly-funded but otherwise lacking childhood. His mother died when he was only four, meaning he never got to know her properly, and his brother, Leonard Parkinson, moved to England before Harry had a chance to get to know him. Despite this, they were always in contact and have remained extremely close throughout their lives.

Separated from Leonard's life of crime, though not from his brother as a whole, Harry made a way for himself, working as a private piano teacher. He used music as an outlet for his immense anger issues, which, although they were never professionally diagnosed, took over a great aspect of his life. He attended many rugby and boxing classes before his arrest, and even played for his local rugby team for a few years.

After Leonard's arrest, Harry was contacted by his brother who asked him if he would help him get out of prison by blackmailing his parole officer. Unsure of whether or not it would work, Harry reluctantly agreed, and took the children of the officer hostage. Though he did not hurt them physically, they were traumatised and the parole officer became extremely distressed. Leonard was let out of prison, but Harry was arrested for assault and kidnapping, and placed at Eastbrick.

• Vera Parkinson; a kind and supportive woman who took a lot of time to care for Leonard, but was less able to care for Harry due to her illness. She died of long-term breast cancer when Harry was four and Leonard was 11, which caused their father to be cold and withdrawn. Harry doesn't really remember her, but is sad that he missed out on having a mother

• Sir Albert Parkinson; an old, respected surgeon and university professor. He took care of Leonard and Harry up until Vera's death, but quickly became cold and withdrawn afterwards, hiring a nanny called Aria to look after them rather than do it himself, causing Harry to resent him. They haven't spoken since Harry turned 18 and left home

  Leonard Parkinson; Harry's older brother. They have a strong relationship, despite his jealous towards Leonard during their childhood. Neither of them hold any resentment towards one another, and remain in contact
