Iris has had extensive education in science, mathematics, and engineering.

Iris Hanover was born in the Spring Domain. She is the only child of Lilith and Minerva Hanover. She grew up in a household that valued education, both of her mothers being scientists themselves. Ever since she was little, she's had a naturally inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. She excelled in her studies and dreamed of one day becoming a royal scientist. She pushed herself beyond her limits and developed an unhealthy perfectionist mindset. The only peace she got was in her daily walk through the woods behind her family's estate. It was during one of these walks when she stumbled upon on band of Helicans, beasts of chaos created by Hex. Helicans hadn't strayed this close to civilization in thousands of years, and Iris was determined to figure out why. During her research, she stumbled across an old folk legend that spoke of Hex's return and the four relics that would stop him. Determined to find the truth about this legend, she began her travels across the Domains. It was in this time period that she met Rose and Nic, two wandering performers seeking the same answers as her.
