Reigaste, specifically feal to Templars of Yan-Esolto
As part of their apprenticeship for the Sect, Riegen works as a messenger and runner-child between their priests, the other Sect-priests, and the courtiers of Soleád.
This is how they first met Gretcha and Filojena.
Their apprenticeship, as well as lurking around theological talk-groups and sneaking about the city with their friends
History
Riegen hails from a small town south of Soleád. The town's local sect-rep of Yan-Esolto died, and thus their liegelord sent Riegen and a handful of other less-trained apprentices and squires to Soleád to take his place, though all but Riegen have fettered out and taken on training in other fields by now. Riegen took a liking to theology, and found particular interest in the workings of their sect; they hope not only to become the rep for their town, but also, one day, a priest of quite high regard. But at the tender and hopeful age of 13, those dreams are far away and locked behind years of ritual and practice.
571 Asc.
Family
Notes
They view the sect of Yan-Esolto as a variant form of worship to Yan-Reigaste, rather than a mode of intensive penitence and pain as a relegate self-sacrifice (these are the two schools of thought concerning the sect, verging on a mini-schism in their differences). For this reason, they are morally opposed to The Walking of the Flags, as it has become something of a touchstone for the penitent school of thought, though all members of the sect participate.
While well-read, their philosophies are still the bold beliefs of a young teenager, and thus not quite as nuanced as their older peers, whose ideas don't come across quite as cope-y as theirs do at times.
