Endgame for her is to become a powerful and vibrant courtier-poet in Soleád. Early on, she has a transcendent experience at an opera and a few balls ft. prominent poets and goes down an intense rabbit hole into learning and mastering poetry as an art form and power-play, using allusions to religions and current/ past culture to articulate herself as a true courtier must. (An excuse for me to explore literary culture/ mess around with poetic form unrestrained by (but referential to) the lyric structures of real Early Modern courts.
Her poetry will get her into political successes and messes and move her higher and higher in the court at Soleád amid rising tensions within both court and church.
Her poetry also plays into her dealings with romance, as well- either she has a muse who inspires a lot of her works, or she is roped into writing poetry Cyrano de Bergerac-style for a friend to express their love for another.
