LEGION is a Strong Artificial Intelligence, made to oversee either facilities or Amal-Net Activity, these beings are known for their high intelligence, controlling of Bodies/Vehicles/Cyborgs, and other such duties, LEGION is one such being, special in that he has uploaded himself to the Cloud, making him nigh-invincible to normal means of snuffing out an AI.

LEGION's overarching theme is that Free Will, Morality, and Religion are all illusions, made by sapient beings to cope with the fact that they are not in control, that nobody is in control, and that Objective Morality is laughable at best, this ideology conflicts with Io's initial beliefs that Morality is needed for a functioning society, that Free Will exists, and that the Gaeanid Religion is fact. These beliefs slowly change over the course of LEGION's interactions with Io, with both learning something from the other's philosophy.

LEGION will take any chance to flaunt of their divinity and greatness, believing themselves to be one of the greatest Conscious Beings that has ever existed, constantly referring to themselves as multiple beings despite them being a singular entity, they regularly refer to themselves in the Third Person. When they inhabit a body, their movements are very unnatural and puppet-like, with limbs moving in bizarre inhuman ways.

LEGION wanted to control humanity via brute force, using killing machines to decimate many before sealing themselves in an analogue server. Once LEGION was released from their server, uploading themselves into the AmalNet, they seek to control the flow of data, to keep humans from interfering in their penultimate goal to dominate the Earth, ruling as Humanity's invisible ruler.
