He's the most talented swordsman in the story.

He's the kind of person who always has a tune in his head, so he taps on things and bounces his leg. When he is training, however, he doesn't do this, because all of that energy is translated into fighting.

He's a creature of id, so he is most often after whatever feels best without any real ideology. He's a member of a small population that rarely gets to see others of his kind. When he crosses one, and they get along, his motivation is to stay with them. He's lost, born in the wrong time, without his people.

He has trouble taking things seriously and has trouble committing. He has no real morals. In other words, he's pretty chaotic neutral.

All of Leigh's personality would be grating of not for the fact that he is kind. He's a genuinely nice person, even after being hurt. He's smart, but not too smart, and has a good head for military strategy. He doesn't have a lot of darkness too him, and isn't really all that sarcastic - although he does like to tease. The only thing he really takes seriously is sword training, and military things. But his kind and welcoming personality doesn't preclude being suspicious if the situation warrants it. He has good instincts, and he follows them; and is good with people.
