Pathologically noncommital; hell-bent on avoiding or dissociating from anything heavy/unpleasant. Despite his sunny demeanor, he has probably coped with Ryan's death the worst out of all of his friends (because he hasn't "coped" so much as he's stubbornly planted himself in the denial stage of his grief). His alcohol and drug use are increasingly impacting his life and any career aspirations he once had are all but on hold -- although if you ask him, these facts have nothing to do with the tragic and untimely death of one of his closest friends.

Gregarious, engaging. He has a knack for making others feel at ease, even those most averse to feeling at ease, hence his position as the crowned extrovert in a friend group of neurotic introverts. He's not an obsequious kiss-ass; he's genuinely curious about others’ lives and about the world around him, with a wide breadth of knowledge and interests.

Very few, but "boring" is a cardinal sin in his vernacular.

He's always been social, smart, and athletic. In university, he switched majors about three times (despite excelling in most of his classes) before settling on biochemistry and graphic design with a minor in psychology. He considers himself a jack-of-all-trades (and he has a transcript and a tattoo that both say as much). Thanks to his job, he's also a great mixologist and a pretty decent cook.
