Razor typically wears a hat that covers the top and back of his head and neck, with his hair sticking out from underneath and swept back under the sun shade. Let out, his hair is neck-length and he usually keeps it swept back. As is typical of his race he has a pair of short curved horns that protrude from the back of his head.

Nature
Razor is manipulative and questionably trustworthy, which ultimately detracts from the impressiveness of his other skills. He shows his true self to virtually no one, and is often rather self-centered in his actions.
Razor is a smooth-talker, especially at ease operating under the guise the various reputations he's carved out for himself in different arms of the galaxy. With this skill he is able to handily get himself (and his associates) into places and situations in which he probably shouldn't be, as well as often defusing the kind of trouble that follows him around without physical conflict.
Outside of this, he is particularly adept with physics, mathematics, and engineering, becoming something of a whiz inventor since leaving the racketeering business behind. With the money he absconded with, he is able to see his craziest mechanical whims to fruition with relative ease.
Razor is always tinkering with something, a habitual trial-and-error inventor. A large swath of Razor's Isle is dedicated to his discarded and defunct projects, and the robots and battle arenas on the island are exclusively of his own design.
Razor is the type to be most comfortable when he has more information than you do, being particularly happy when he considers himself in command of any situation. He tends to ultimately be in control of a situation even if it seems like he's not.
Razor rarely sits still for very long, favoring gestures that are large and bombastic.
Razor is largely motivated by the recognition of large groups of people—fame, infamy, and attention are really what he craves. He's also only gotten as far in life as he has thanks to his keen sense of self-preservation—he's very motivated by ensuring his own safety.
As the story progresses, Razor's primary drive becomes clearer and clearer: he holds a century-old grudge, fueled by a thirst for revenge.

History
Given the way he tends to act, most people Razor meets underestimate just how old he is. Still, though his age may seem high compared with most other creatures, he's considerably youthful for his race.
Because of his longevity, he's a well-traveled individual who has crossed in and out of countless others' lives briefly and constantly.
Prior to his settlement on Razor's Isle, Razor was the de facto leader of the Miscreants, a roving band of fly-by-night mercenaries who made business by taking odd jobs for unscrupulous clients and running heists to fund their efforts. Having been displaced from his home world at an early age, Razor was already used to the stars serving as his home.
Eventually, feeling the cumulative pressure of several sources of heat, Razor abandoned his crew at a critical moment, fleeing on his own with the lion's share of their spoils, vanishing into the back country of the galaxy without so much as a hint of where or why.
Attire
Throughout Volume 1, Razor tends to wear a white lab coat open over a burgundy V-neck shirt, black pants, and a pair of fine brown leather boots. He's never seen without his signature hat, which matches his boots and covers the top of his head, and has a soft fabric back that shades his neck and ears from the sun.
