family is who you choose them to be and they come first no matter what, but despite this the good of the many outweighs the needs of the few

flint is compassionate to a fault and when his good nature is pushed too far he snaps. he is also fiercely protective of his friends to the point at which his anger scares them.but he also will disappear at times when he need to achieve clarity on some matter.

studying and researching all manner of knowledge regardless of how pointless or obscure

laid back and easygoing but just before the point where he is lazy. yet there is this underlying drive to understand everything from the smallest part of matter to how the universe works that keeps him up for days on end just reading and testing hypothesis.

a need to keep up with ike's power and keep himself from slipping into the madness and depression that the crystal induces. flint wants to see the universe and discover his place within it but also to find answers about who he is and who he was before a destiny he didn't want was imposed on him. hes continuously split between rejecting his intended path at the cost of his humanity and freedom in his life, or choosing the easier and more controlled path that leads to his destiny. wither he is scared of losing his identity or his ability make decisions for himself doesn't really matter. he can either reject strength and his destiny for a life of weakness and cowardice but freedom, or the ability to rise above all and serve some unknown force for eternity.

the natural leader but willing to step aside when someone with more drive is needing to take the wheel. he isn't afraid to speak his mind even if his ideas are unpopular
