Born into a low class family that left her and her little sister (Lilly) at an orphanage when the father got very sick and the parents were unable to take care of them due to neither being able to work (the mom nursing and the dad sick). They were adopted by the kings very soon after, due to the unusual appearance of Lilly, who looked like their equivalent of the grim reaper, not to mention Lilly’s frequent bouts of sickness. They were raised happily there, with both kings frequently giving them the opportunity to meet their birth parents (Addy didn’t want to, and Lilly followed her lead). Around the time Addy was 11(ish), her powers were discovered when Lilly spilled some cloudberries, which Addy attempted to catch with a gust of wind (she was unsuccessful, but the presence of the wind was clear). She was sent to Eengloh to learn to control and use her powers, returning to Thalith every once in a while to visit and continue her normal education. At Eengloh, she met Aeron, Rowana, and Kai. While Rowana and Kai offered her friendship, Aeron offered her much more: A chance to revive the dead.

Formal education up to the equivalent of 12th grade and EMT certification in our world, plus some informal education by Mark in the medical field, up to their equivalent of a nurse practitioner.
