Her shortterm need constantly changes based on the situation she's in at that moment. It won't be untill someone makes her realize she has the need that her longterm can change

Her needs are derived from her wants. however, Lyra is shortterm oriented and doesn't realise she has a longterm need.
Her want is to essentialy help people the best way she can but doesn't realize her shortterm oriented actions only remove her further from her goal

They're willing to kill to reach their goal. No-one stands in their way and her loyalty will be to whoever can best help her reach her goal.

She needs to learn how to solve convlicts without using robots programmed to maim/ murder

shortterm:

She needs to not get convicted for "stealing" property, vandalism and attempted murder

Lyra wants to start her own robotics company specialized in artificial bodyparts to help disabled civilians and heroes

Her bigest problem is with the government who has noticed her potential and tried to get her to use it to harm people on their conditions.
Lyra doesn't bode well with terms of others and at the core of her being she only wishes to help people

She has never given herself limits but its high time she does
