Alyssa used to be like Clair, standing up for herself and what she believed in--once she had Clair it changed. She will allow herself to be walked on for her kids, although when someone is "walking" on her, she shows discomfort. She will itch her arm until its red, she paces (when she thinking it out after the "walking"); even if she is quiet when being told to do something, she is always telling that person off in her head. However, she will not be walked on if someone is trying to walk on her children--she will trample someone trying to walk on her children.

Guilt: she blames herself for what she can't control. Their current living situation (money and stuff), their dad dying, and...wait I can't tell y'all that yet

Multi-tasking: She can juggle and type up a five-paragraph essay if asked to.
Public Speaking: Her dream job was to become a government leader and change the world for her kids to grow up in, she was going to retire early too--but things change.
Singing: She hums when she's thinking something through--Clair snaps when thinking because of her (she associates music with thinking things through)--she sings to her kids to calm them and herself down. She has a great voice.

Singing, cleaning (no mom likes a messy house), writing proposals for city improvements: when she has free-time, which is never, she likes to pretend she is fixing the world for her family.

Loves her family so much, her husband, Jalen died in a mine explosion so she has to work extra hard to take care of her 5 kids. She'd bend over backwards and twist her body all the way around if it meant a good life and future for her kids. She is strong-willed and she feels herself slowly degrading as the world takes more and more of herself away from her.

"The government was made in less than a day, combining multiple pieces of our separate countries into one semi-functional government. Alyssa Berkhet grew up in Ekhoyo, the largest city in Maxidoma. It was easy to blend in, to go unnoticed and that's all she wanted to do. She was very smart, her parents were rich and provided her with more than she could ask for. She got through high school with a 4.0 gpa and graduated college as valedictorian of her class. She majored in Public and Social services and was planning on climbing her way to the top. She met Jalen Gaotia in the library on a Saturday afternoon a few years after college. He was going over the laws of Maxidoma and changing them to his liking on a sheet of notebook paper, the sight intrigued her and she couldn't help but ask him what exactly he was doing. They hit it off and went on a date a week later. A year after they met, they got married. Clair came not too long after, kid after kid--work piled up and things became too hard to handle. Alyssa had to quit her job and stay home to take care of the kids, Jalen was working as a financial worker for the government. He edited his laws, the ones he made in the library, whenever he got the chance--changing them as new things arose, adding some, all with his wife helping him along the way. They wanted to heal the world, but then the disease came, it was so sudden, no symptoms at all. He was in the hospital for two weeks and Alyssa had to take up as many jobs as she could. She regrets having so many kids, but whenever she has the thought she immediately regrets that--she loves them with her life and will never let a disease, person, or anything else ever hurt them.

Pizza is a rare food for the poor people cause the supplies to make it is rare and since it's well liked it's priced more.
She has 6 kids: Clarissa; Garret, thirteen-year-old know-it-all; Adam, the nitpicky ten-year-old; Olivia, the seven-year-old pain; Coralie, the precious four-year-old; and Jalen, the baby named after their dad.
