Can't understand those who disrespect adults or authority figures. (This is his main problem with Luke.)

Can be a little hesitant and overcautious, which while a good counter for Halcyon's impulsivity, is bad in battles and other such situations where confidence and courage are needed. Still, he's brave when it counts and he always pulls through at the end. Not much of a leader.

Laid back, calm and collected, friendly, understanding, caring, quiet, gentlemanly, optimistic, sweet. Not fearless but not cowardly either, somewhere in the middle. Careful, sometimes too much. More of a follower than a leader.

Was taken into a loving and moderately-rich foster family when he was 5; they gave him love and affection and support and treated him as their own son.

His time in the orphanage was lonely and miserable, so he idolizes his parents who saved him from that. He hates disappointing them, and would do almost anything to make them proud.

His parents are the only ones who know about his powers; he told them almost as soon as he found out he had them, when he was 6. Now that he's in college, they call once every two weeks and ship him with his good friend and roommate, Andrea--but he's bisexual, and has a crush on Rogue, his arch-nemesis. This contradicts with them being on opposite sides and is cause for a great inner dilemma. This, along with not wanting his parents to look at him any differently, stops him from being able to tell them the truth.

He and Halcyon form a good team and often work together; he's one of the few people who can successfully rein Halcyon in and keep her impulsive tendencies in check.
