When he and Sam get closer, he learns that he is very afraid to lose her.
As a fire user, his sensitivity to water users is much higher than any other Faerie groups. Whether it's the difficulty it poses to fight them or whether it's the fact that they could drown you... it's probably both. He is very much afraid of the idea of drowning.

In the beginning, he does what he's told. If his king says go visit the Earthen court, then he does it. (And he does)
He'd do a lot for Sam. He loves her more than anything. But that's after a while once they are on their quest.

He's fairly proper having grown up in the royal court and he also became a knight, so he doesn't fidget when nervous. But he does crack his knuckles out of habit. If he's practicing something (like throwing a spear) he sticks his tongue out. Samara thinks it's funny and cute.

When he gets stressed out, he likes to work up a sweat, whatever way that may be.
He gets heated about things very fast and sometimes it's easy to see it on his face.

He gets heated really easily. You know he's angry when you're arguing (or something is going on) and he has to pause for a moment and let out a breath. In the beginning he might be yelling, but when he's reached his peak of anger he whispers and it's scary.

Doesn't like humans, because he thinks they're inferior. He also really doesn't like Kalen. But that's mostly because they both really like Samara.

Good with weapons, and words. He's fairly musical as well. He also has his magic, which is mostly pertaining to fire element things. BUT he has a gene from his grandmother who was from the Earthen court, and she passed it to her son, but it was dormant and then Azar got it from his dad. ANYWAY, he can also manipulate lava. Can't create it but he can manipulate it.

At the beginning he is a prince. After the attack on their own kind, he swears off his kingdom and joins with Terrana, swearing allegiance to King Roald Ellion Peter Alevi.
Then after he's married off to Samara Alevi, they are sent to the ocean kingdom to be an emissary.

Twin swords that he has strapped to his back. His fire powers. He can use bow and arrow, but it's not his strong suit. The first two he does very well.

Doesn't really hate Kalen but he doesn't necissarally like him either. They both really like Sam so it's hard to like someone you're competing with for someone else's attention
He is from the fire kingdom and so he has fire powers. He can not only control lava and fire (and create fire) but he can also control and create lightning. Lightning is a rare talent that only nobles have in Emberane
