He casts his normal korianan magic, but when Danae brings him blood magic and Nightmancy he takes them up as hobbies.

He's a chameleon. He's very good at hiding his true thoughts, moods, and motivations. And he hides them from everyone except Danae and his brother.

Excess energy, always moving, never sitting still. When he goes still is when he is most dangerous.

A true, deep joy in hurting others. Aside from corrupting influence of the anilumietra, he enjoys power. He chases power, and if others get hurt that's even better. But he is capable of kindness if it serves his motivations of power acquisition.

He makes rash descisions, and he is easy to manipulate because he's arrogant and power hungry.

A contempt for the lower class and, well, anyone who isn't Danae. He sees people as things to be manipulated.

He's narcissistic and arrogant, but he's fun when he chooses to be kind. When things are good with him they're very good, but he's capable of many depths of depravity. He enjoys those depths. He enjoys them more with Danae at his side, because he feels that she both literally and figuratively increases his power and his enjoyment. He does feel positive things towards her - attachment, enjoyment, desire, and the like; but he isn't capable of true love, and thus always has a sort of power. However, he also respects her because of her magic and military ability and he doesn't realize that she actually loves him. He assumes her feelings for him are the same as his for her, and so he never wields the power he has over her.

He doesn't care for animals.

He was raised as the crown prince. His father wasn't a bad ruler, but he wasn't really all that memorable. His mother died in child birth with his brother. He was groomed to be the leader, and in the time when Danae is out forging the country for him he doesn't do that great a job at ruling - he allowed the abimites to completely take over his court.
