Xiao comes with a quiet nature that can easily be mistaken for shyness. But he's just provisional with his words; curt and blunt with a sassy undertone. He'll mock someone in a deadpan but smile a little bit about it right after so you know he isn't being cranky. He especially enjoys teasing his god, Tomo Memoriam.

He's also extremely stubborn. The ideal ambassador obeys their god's every whim and request wholly and without question; Xiao is quite the opposite. He frequently goes against Tomo Memoriam's commands, but not out of pettiness; he loves and respects his god more than some ambassadors do. What he does is always, to him, in Tomo Memoriam's best interest. And usually, he is right.

Some may consider him to be no-nonsense but he is actually quite a relaxed person.

Slouches when he's standing around. He's also weirdly flexible.

Keeping his god from fucking himself up.

Has a near-impenetrable incapacity for selfishness. He's so loyal to his god (despite the constant disobedience), he cannot fathom doing something for himself.

Great at sleight of hand and being generally sneaky; can easily worm things out from under someone's nose. He's excellent at navigating the library and is generally the best choice for going to find someone who got lost there.

Ambassador of memories

Xiao is a survivor from the first generation of major gods. He was sealed in the library with Tomo Memoriam, Avon, Dylan Pembroke, and Alwen (Yr Ddraig) Pembroke. Along with his god, Xiao did his best to give the representatives of knowledge information on what was going on without being overly descriptive - something his own God requested.

After the death of the final god, Xiao hid a single sheet from each book of the departed that Tomo Memoriam was going to burn. As such, memories of those that had perished were not wiped from common memory. Tomo Memoriam has no clue of this, of course, as most of the survivors he would have contact with were immune to the effects of burned books anyway.

During the ambassador collapse, Xiao was in Dechrau Newydd to keep an eye on the fallen ambassadors and help ensure their safety as they recovered.

There was a certain 'event' that damaged the souls of many ambassadors. Xiao was spared. However, he currently lives as a human inside of Dechrau Newydd as a babysitter for the injured ambassadors. He can leave any time he wishes.
