Usually takes the form as a pygmy red dragon with stout limbs. Long and lithe, with ear fans that flap and a frill that can come up like the feathers of a cockatoo when something catches his attention.

He's the perfect mesh of his parents; calm and easygoing, tends to consider consequences of actions before following through. This sort of wisdom seemingly manifests as extraneous luck, which he seems to have in spades. He is simply able to approach most things with a sound mind - embodying properties of both knowledge and fortune.

Very polite, somewhat chivalric. He tries to do what's right but doesn't engage in risky behaviour.

His need to weigh the pros and cons of decisions means he can sometimes take decisions that conflicts with his personality.

Most gods cannot stay in non-natural forms for very long; Alwen is a dragon much, much longer than he is in his 'natural' form.

The first analog to exist as the union between two deities, Alwen is the son of Dylan (ambassador of knowledge) and Alea (first ambassador of fortune). He was sealed in the library with Dylan during the conflict that engulfed the first generation with gods; such profound loss disproportionately affected his father, who became neurotic about keeping Alwen a secret so as to keep Alwen from potentially being killed like Alea was. For this reason, Alwen is always quite close to his father - if he isn't, then he is with someone that Dylan trusts, such as Tomo or Xiao.
