Strong prejudice against the wealthy and the Board, but he didn't let this prejudice actually stop him from being kind. He was close to Evera and others from the Board, even though he did not agree with their viewpoints or their hypocrisy.

"Soft," Nyir whispered, the bottle hanging from her hand. "He was soft. Kind of a fool, so naive, but just so kind. He had so much sincerity in his heart. He was everything I thought I could never be, but everything I wanted to be." She laughed harshly. "But that got him killed, didn't it? Too trusting, no sense of danger, friendly to a fault. Now he's dead."

He's not picky. But he's got a bad habit of eating too many snacks.

Nyir never knew his actual favorite color. Whenever she asked, he always answered something stupid and sappy, like, "Sort of a rich brown, kinda like...no, exactly like your eyes. What a coincidence!"

Researcher, mostly an Inventor

Very pro-Socialism; however, the form of Socialism in the Lower World is something he definitely hated. He wants equality for everyone, regardless of "usefulness". Wants more focus on ingenuity and safety, wants all jobs to be equal, wants people to be happy. Wants safety over freedom, but likes the idea of eventually moving on to the Upper World when they're ready.

"He told me about his parents," Nyir said, glancing at the ceiling as she considered. "I met them a few times. His childhood was okay, I think. High-end middle class. Always wanted to invent things. Made random little machines back when he was young. Learned to be a Researcher. Met me. Got married." She paused. "Died."

He actually managed to keep track of his birthday roughly. Sometime in February.

None, but when he was above ground, he befriended many forest critters.

Character description is not accurate to how he truly was. This description is entirely in the minds of Nyir and Tasper. Basically how they remember him after him being dead for two years. They've idealized him and erased most of his flaws. His actual personality doesn't really matter in the story.
