Korai "Cloud" Tauroh and Virus aren't a very conventional couple. Like, at all. It started at their first meeting. Virus and Thread were looking for a rare part that was about to be thrown out by a wealthy Evo citizen- a part that Cloud also wanted, coincidentally. During their struggle, Cloud managed to steal the part but Virus shot him in the shoulder. Fast forward to later that day when Virus was at a bar and caught the interest of an unknown but attractive man. (Hmm, wonder who it was.) They hooked up and in the middle of the frick-frack-snick-snack Virus noticed that the man was injured... in a very... interesting... spot.

When Virus revealed that he knew who Cloud was, Cloud freaked out, but then he realized who Virus was. Virus told him that if Cloud betrayed him, he would easily have Cloud killed. They agreed to stay out of each other's business from then on.

Unfortunately, Cloud then graffitied multiple walls around Evo with an important message- that message being that he had done the frick-frack-snick-snack with Evo's #1 criminal.

“C’mon, we’ve gotta have merch for our rebellion. Now, which shade of blue do you prefer?”

“Welcome to Evo, the most advanced place in the world- technologically, anyways. It stands for Eco-tech Vitality Operation. That, kids, basically translates to ‘a bunch of wealthy pricks run an experiment where we’re the guinea pigs and we have to pretend that we like it.’”
