White belly, markings that go up his cheeks that fade from white to tan. Tan paws. The rest of his fur is black and dark brown.

Leather collar with a medallion attached that has the first letter of his name etched on its surface.

He is a big, fluffy dog.

About 3 feet.

Mostly black, with the markings mentioned above.

Honey brown

Absolutely nothing. He even likes the very feline Felixians as long as they treat him well.

Cupid once suffered from severe malnutrition, but since being rescued, he's has made a fantastic recovery, now a very good healthy boy.

A total sweetheart who has gained a slightly sharp tongue from spending too much time with Selina. He's quick to trust and initially loves everyone he meets, although it took him some time to get to that point of never knowing a stranger. Intelligent and has more common sense than his demeanor might lead one to believe. Great for both warm hugs and sound advice.

Napping, chasing things, hunting, swimming, running

Very agile and strong. Intelligent and eager to learn.

A little lazy: napping is his number one hobby, after all.

Love and loyalty, desire to never see anyone hurt.

Do manners matter to a dog? They sleep on their bellies with their legs spread apart.

Dirt, he loves good, brown dirt.

Also doesn't care.

A well-worn stick kept by his pillow. "The best thing I've ever chewed on," he calls it.

If he must fight, it's with his vicious teeth.

Therapy dog

Cupid is an enchanted herding dog who serves as a familiar for Selina.

To clarify, "enchanted" animals are the descendants of intelligent, talking animals from a near-unexplored continent. Many believe them to have been made there by another magically-talented race for the purpose of servitude, so most enchanted animals living in Haverunt are familiars under the ownership of either an individual or family as pets or servants. The lucky ones have "masters" who come to know their familiars as friends, and they develop a strong, mutually respectful relationship.

No, not everyone is that lucky. It's actually the norm to use familiars almost strictly as tools. Cupid wasn't so lucky at first, he served under a cold and uncaring family that would punish him brutally for failure. Selina stole him from that family and he was essentially rehabilitated in Mopo, where his job earns him the respect to everyone who lives in or regularly visits the trading post.

A well-trained dog, although much of his young education was gratuitously brutal.

He technically is the pet.

TL;DR, lovable talking dog, rehabilitated by Selina after living with abusive owners. Now a therapy dog in Mopo.
