Cecily's parents tried to sneak into Clearlake to create a better life for Will and her. But their parents were caught and executed. Will and Cecily were sent back to The Falls. Will found a job and they managed to buy a small apartment. When Cecily was ten she got a job and started to help pay. When she was twelve, she came back to the apartment and Will wasn't there. She waited all night and for two days waiting for him to show up, and he never did. A bunch of dangerous people were after her because she had an element of power. Cecily barely managed to pay rent and ended up losing the apartment after her brother had abandoned her. When she turned thirteen, she found out her brother had joined the Elite. Cecily stayed in hiding until she turned thirteen and her brother came back for her with Jayden and asked her to join the Elite.
