She has one older sister, named Elsie, who was a total wash-out. Elsie did drugs, smoked, drank under-age, had bad grades, and yet still was the favorite child. Valeria, however, was the perfect daughter, smart, funny, kind, and was hated by her family for it. When she came out as bisexual, her family jumped at the opportunity to ruin her life. She went to a very anti-gay school, and when everyone found out, she lost all her friends. She just kept smiling, kept laughing through the pain. But, her boyfriend thought she was cheating on him, and that was why she came out to him. He stabbed her in the heart, leaving her on the side of the road to die. Helena Wilkins was walking home, saw her, and took her to the hospital. When she died, Helena remade her for free, and gave her back to her family, unknowing that her family would have rather she died. Valeria ran away, and was picked up by M.E.C.H.A. scientists that found her in the streets, recognizing her as an android.
