When B. first came to Llewellyn, he thought everyone would be schmancy rich boys, but L. seemed different, more reserved. B. had seen L. in the gelato parlour a lot, and knew the kid's father was hugely wealthy.
L. came up to B. one day before school after B. had been rowing, and said, 'You work in the gelato parlour, yes?'
then they just kinda...melded together as friends.

Grew up in small country town, when he was 11 they moved to the city. Attends Llewellyn College for Boys on a partial scholarship. Family is enormous with heaps of cousins, and Benjamin grew up loved, bubbly, and happy. His family has enough money a comfy life, but not enough for frippery, and sometimes they go without things. Eldest of six, as well as other cousins - cares for them all, pressure to do this, feel like no-one to turn to - his relatives turn to him, who does he turn to?

Attended local Sunday school from four until eight.
Started at the local primary school age five, then until year six, when the family moved to the city for more opputionity.
Got a partial scholarship to Llewellyn College, and attends as a day schooler. He is part of the music program there, and the rowing team. He has no extra tutors, but mostly finds time to study himself.
