Often thought his parents bought his compliance with these toys.
Always knew there was something more.
Mother left/died when he was four. Father pushed L. to be fabulous at everything, like a prince-heir to their little kingdom. L. often home alone whilst father is off doing business stuff. His father is obsessed with the old Celtic mythology stuff, like fairies and magic and heroes. He pushes L. to be like a hero, too.

She's enjoying life at Oxford.
Father's parents enjoy a retirement of cruises and living in a mansion on the coast with a vineyard. Father's father still dabbles in stocks and shares.
