She's spunky and outspoken, she loves her friends dearly and will fight for them. She's very personable, friendly, and loyal. She has a deep relationship with her brother, Manny, especially since his parents adopted her into their fam when she was all alone and wandering alleys.
She loves Mountain Dew and having fun.
She has a slight tendency of anxiety, namely due to her ability to sense and absorb energy from living things. She can get jittery around large crowds of people, but generally has it under control. She likes to work out to get the edge off and for fun.

She's mostly into men, but is bi-curious.

She loves to crochet and knit. She loves to go jogging.

She's very loyal and doesn't spill secrets. She trusts people who are good to her. She's very forgiving and able to compromise.

She tends towards social anxiety in large crowds, due to her powers. She tends to trust people who could do her harm, despite all things. She has the tendency to jump to conclusions and then freak out about them.

She's non-religious. No beliefs ever made her feel safe, so she just doesn't follow any.

Raised in a middle class family, the Lazos, her parents and sisters were hunted one day when she was around 6 years old. Her parents fell in battle protecting Karen and her two sisters, while her older sister put herself into cold sleep by icing herself, and her younger sister's Telekinesis awoke while she was in the midst of drowning in their land's small lake.
Karen ran away from home once the assassins left, and lived on the streets for several years, learning how to survive at all costs. She met up with (//cringe) Shadow the Hedgehog, who gave her a place to stay for a while and a good enough(??) education, and she grew up with a small idol crush on him.
Once she was old enough, she left his care (as well as her crush) behind her and forged out on her own, where she met Mankiki (Manny), whom she dated briefly, before realizing they were better off as very close friends.
Manny decided he couldn't leave his friend/ex on the streets, so his family formally adopted her, adding the -Shaw to her full name. She went on to formally attend high school with her newfound brother, where she met Angel, recognizing her as the girl who ran from her in a coffee shop.
Later, she's looking for colleges to apply to, and meets her current boyfriend, Duncan.
