Somewhere in eastern Japan
His father being an evil tyrant who wanted to do away with his former friend, raised Hisashi to be a cold blooded killer. He was trained to kill the tribe from which his own tribe split from. And when he began to learn how to be kind, thanks to his mother's teachings, he watched as his father killed his mother. He spent the rest of his childhood running away from his father, but also guarding the demon girl who's home he was made to destroy.
