Great leader, cares more than people think.

He wants to give his siblings a good life. Though later in this story he sees that as impossible and is left with no motivation. By the end of this story he is motivated by protecting his friends and family and restoring magic.

Can be controlling, and condescending, bad at explaining things

When Peter was eleven, or so, an incident accrued resulting in his parents disposal from power in the Silver Star guild. Since they were skilled magicians the only way to get rid of them was to kill them. Peter has hated the guild ever since and left them the second he had the chance.
Though this does not mean he was happy when he heard that Brooklyn destroyed the guild, killing many magicians in the process.

Magic (Honestly most of what he studied all his life).
He is well versed, if not fluent, in Tal and Talian script.

He is focused and calm. He tries his best to keep the team composed.

Throughout most of the story he tries to keep the journey moving along so that he can complete his arrangement with Lord Bren. His world is a bit shaken after the incident with the time star.

When time comes to decide the future of the kingdoms Peter insists on staying quiet. Though it is implied that he was disappointed at the rescission to outlaw magic.

And by the end, rightful ruler of Gadalia. (It is undecided whether or not he continues ruling)

He was educated in basic magic. He became a mage when he was thirteen and continued to master more specific forms of magic.

His parents died when he was eleven.
He escaped from the Silver Star guild when he was sixteen, and began his journey followed by the main story line when he was sixteen and one half year.

Though he has never had a pet of his own, Peter briefly bonded with a horse which he rode over the course of their journey.

Parents are deceased.
He has one older brother and two younger sisters who are twins
