Sian is many things.

He's a very physical, personal person; he hates sitting still and becomes restless quickly. He'll bounce his leg, look for something to fix, anything to take up his free time to keep him from sitting still. He'll act in a given situation before he'll ask questions - and this normally makes him turn violent. He has a strong reliance on his brother to be his impulse control and rational brain.

He's indulgent. He loves the bar scene and has a strong libido. He's confident and suave, always ready for a bit of fun. He loves the hustle and bustle of daily life and tries to put himself out there as much as possible. He can get wound up in what he's doing and become so engrossed in it, however, that he begins to ignore other things. It's not on purpose and it's done with no malice, and it's an issue of his he is aware of.

He can be so protective over friends and family that he becomes reckless and may put on an unnecessary 'macho' front; this recklessness is the destructive part of his concept.

He is especially possessive over Aile, who is his only living blood relative. But Aile is also the primary victim of Sian's ignorance when he becomes engrossed in relationships, where Sian unconsciously puts Aile on the backburner. Aile is much too polite to kick up a fuss about it.

Obnoxious and playful when he talks. Frequently uses gestures. Fairly thick Irish accent.

His family and their safety.

Impulsive; punch first, ask questions later. Can become comfortable too quickly. Easily angered.

A strong penchant for fire magic; physical powerhouse.

He can only stay in one place for so long; has worked as a carpenter, electrician, a farmer, a cop. Has also gone the other way and worked as a fire fighter.

Atheist; he's seen the world of gods, and can't bring himself to believe in a higher power.

As the eldest in a family of six children, Sian considered himself the big brother that everyone looked up to. He was rather close in age to his younger brother, Aile; but unlike his half-Vietnamese brother, Sian was a redhead - as was the rest of his family. They lived in a modest home by the seaside; Sian's mother was a poet and his father was a diplomat.

They were all fire mages (inherited from their mother). Aile was a water mage.

Calamity had her eyes on the two of them the day Misra told her about them, of their preconceived fate and where they were to go afterwards.

One day, there was a commotion outdoors, and an explosion. They'd gone outside, and what they would see was a monster. A god, demon, or mixture of the two; a mystery to this day. The family lived on a cliffside near the town of Stair, right next to the sea.

Aile, the black sheep, had been chosen by the monster. It had taunted them, egged Sian to attack him.

While Sian was held back by his family, his younger brother was tossed into the ocean - killed by the element upon which he controlled.

Sian had broken free, faced the monster. Threatened his brother's killer. He was pressed back by a force he could not control, forcefully herded back into his home with his family, like a flock of lambs to the slaughter.

That night, their home became a pyre as the rest of the family, Sian included, were burned alive.

He awoke in limbo some time later, to Aile hugging him, and Calamity introducing herself. He was given the concept of protection. In theory.

It was a known fact that Sian was destructive when he was protective due to his strength as a fire mage, and so his concept became more focused on the duality - or balance - between the two, rather than simply protection.

At some point, Sian met Parker Capello through another concept god and they became more than just friends.

Currently shares a home in an unnamed universe with Aile and sometimes Kassian
