Farisal
Appears as both a small girl and a floating slithering monster shrouded in the mists of sleep

Appears as both a small scared girl seeking help and a floating slithering monster both shrouded in the mists of sleep (the girl is the princess of Nightmares and the monster the dream king) two bodies and minds one being
the girl small, the monster huge and imposing

The closed eye, the mists of sleep ( a plant that when burned gives off a purplish smoke)

Powers
Farisal grants dreams to it's followers, the truly devout are occasionally granted access to the nightlands and able to walk thorough others dreams but this comes at a price, for you will no longer have any of your own
can send those that displease or threaten them to the realm of nightmares where all fears are born and many of the darker things of the world have been imprisoned
argues with themselves frequently, the girl appears to like doing it too, you must be asleep for them to have power over you
two being as one, each has a mind of their own but they are the same thing this does cause some problems
Rituals
Prayers for restful sleep, keep nightmares at bay. Before bed they beseech Farisal for such things
burning of the mists of sleep, the sap of the plant is boiled into a more potent syrup and then burnt said to cause you to enter the Nightlands while awake thus allowing travel from one place to another, but entering these lands with out Farisal's permission leaves you open to be treated as prey
carving the closed eye onto idols or dolls to bring restful sleep or ward off nightmares from children
rarely interact with those who are not their priests but will come to you in dreams or if you invoke them with a proper sacrifice of of cookies made with the mists of sleep

while Farisal rules over the Nightlands they do not control it
