Overview
Sol saris
It has been fifteen years since the Medical Inquisition lifted the continent wide quarantine. In the past couple of years the major merchant houses of Stanzgar have been trying to reestablish the lucrative trade routes of the past and to that end, have created a massive trade caravan, with the goal of starting new trade routes and looting as much of the countryside as they can get away with

Last of the Sol Saris Emperors is born. Ceremony of his coronation would put Caligula to shame.
Several natural disasters cause chaos and destruction on the western coast and central plains of the river lands.
An unusual comet hits Sol Saris far to the north
The Nmerian hordes land in Atlania and lay a bloody path to the imperial capital. Horde loses momentum and scatters a month away from the city
Rampant spending and taxation brings unrest of the common people to a head.
War breaks out between imperial forces and rebel militias.
Rebels continue to gain ground, pushing the Emperor into the peninsula.
Imperial forces drive the Okose orc tribe from their homes into the grand forest.
Emperor uses Grand Drakes to breed an army of wyrms and necromancy to bolster his forces.
In one battle nearly breaks the entirety of the rebel forces.
With the help of dissenting generals rebels sneak into southern palace with an enchanted hammer and shatter the emperor before he can complete a profane ritual.
Three Barons from the peninsula along with a fourth general found the kingdom of Atlania
Stanzgar is founded by refugees fleeing from the empire's tyranny.
Fourth Age (at least 600 years)
Atlania is plagued by the undead remnants of the Emperor's army and the Grand Drakes and their Wyrm children.
The Atlanian’s begin a campaign of extermination on these blights.
Most of the Drakes and all of the undead are exterminated.
Territorial disputes between the Okose and Atlanian Kingdom begin
Nartheam clan dwarves destroy and loot the capital of Boulderholm
Bra’kai raiders attack villages and towns near the Heaven's Gate mountain range
Okose become fed up with Atlanian border skirmishes, Tribal council is called and war is declared
Massacre of Akas takes place.
Prince Albert dies two weeks from friendly lines, his body is brought to to the capital for burial by a member of his retinue.
A ceasefire is called between the two warring peoples
The Death Guard is formed
A tenuous peace is forged between the Okose and the Atlanians on the dying wishes of Prince Albert
A Great Drake is slain in the Barony of Gurdacrest
Grand Duke of the Hunt attempts to reclaim the peninsula, is thwarted through trickery
Lord Duron of Gurdacrest establishes a treaty between the HaLafin and the Kingdom of Atlania.
Peace settles on the peninsula
Lord Andrew Hayes retires from the service of the King after 90 years of service
King Duncan dies. His sons are unhappy and go to war with each other over the throne
Ascension wars last four centuries, lead up to rebellion.
Rebels kill the royal family one prince escapes with loyal lords and generals
Rebels defeat Royal forces at every turn
Loyalists end up in Duncrest, surrounded and out matched
In a fit of desperation Lord Lisbith Duran beseeches the aid of an ancient family guardian
Actually gets a response, Lord Hayes joins the fight,
Kills influential rebel leader.
Loyalists start a march to the capitol
Okose are told to stay out of the ensuing battle, Okose have no choice but to agree
Rebels are finally defeated. Prince Samuel III is crowned king of Atlania
200 years of peace
Relations break down with the Valarnans
thirty years later the Valarnans invade Atlania sowing irreparable devastation in their wake.
for ten years the Atlanians try helplessly to push the Valarnans from their shores. Finally push them out.
The kingdom of Stanzgar solidifies into a major power in their area
Atlania mobilizes for a full scale counter invasion, assembling a massive army, navy and the first ever self propelled artillery battalions. Once on Valarna the Atlanians find the Valarnan defenders are suicidal in the defense of their homeland. The first and third tank battalions are destroyed in one battle.
Emboldened by an abundance of resources and a large stockpile of magic weapons the king of stanzgar declares the lands traditionally held by the Fenglin now belong to stanzgar and sends in troops to enforce his claim
The Invasion of Valarna turns into a grueling infantry war. Lasts five years, ending with the destruction of Salain, cultural capital of Valarna, by way of a destructive Arcanium bomb.
Fifth Age (~375-377yrs)
The Stanzgarian war of aggression against the Fenglin starts to turn in favor of the Fengelin when they unite against Stanzgarian forces
The orc people offer their aid in the war seeking glory and power, with this aid Stanzgar is able to push back once more
With the aid of the Orcs Stanzgar is able to scatter the Fenglin but it leaves the Orc people weak and vulnerable when the king of Stanzgar decides he wants their land as well
Unable to mount a proper defense in the wake of the last war the orc people are beaten and enslaved by stanzgar
~ten years pass
the betrayal of the orcs incites many in Stanzgar into rebellion sparking a civil war
The war ends when the leader of the rebels leads a strike force into the capital and slays the king
The leader of the rebellion declares himself the Emperor of the new Stanzgar empire
Still on a war footing Stanzgar hires out its military to police other countries at their request
Stanzgarian scouts return with news of a powerful empire to the south
Stanzgar and Atlania sign the Alliance of Unity Pact
Arthur enters the world two years after the Alliance of Unity is signed
Talaran dissidents launch a surprise attack on stanzgarian positions within Talara
Talaran War ends badly for the Talarans with many of the nobles involved put to the sword
Prince James of Atlania becomes extremely erratic leading several lords and two of the Baron houses to rebell and back James’ Cousin Robert LeTreis for king.
Arthur Greykeep goes to war against the stanzgarian god of plagues
LeTreis’s backers destroy part of the Southern Palace as a diversion.
It is discovered that Prince James erratic behavior and extreme and violent demeanor is a result of manipulation by the long thought dead Grand Emperor, now an undead lich.
Civil War quickly turns into an undead extermination, drawing even Stanzgar into the fray
Civil War ends with the assumed destruction of the lich and the crowning of Robert LeTreis as King of Atlania.
Several massive tears in the fabric of reality occur across Sol Saris bringing forth a demonic plague and hordes of demons
Atlania was spared the brunt of this disaster both due to their long history of demon slaying and a smaller number of portals opening there
The demon plague spread like wildfire through the capital of stanzgar resulting in the stanzgarian military putting the city to the torch
Eventually the stanzgarian medical Inquisition managed to get the disease under control but the empire was left undermanned and in massive debt
Stanzgar unable to maintain their iron trade with Atlania, forces the kingdom to seek metal from other sources leading to a disastrous war in the Movai.
Stanzgarian power resolidified allowing trade to be restored across the continent
The 700 fleets of the Nmerian horde arrive outside of the Stanzgarian harbour seeking a business venture with the prevailing kingdoms. None are in a position to refuse
The Nmerians gain the land once occupied by the capital of the Great Empire, turning its ruined structures into a thriving trade town.
An uneasy peace settled across the land with no one willing to break it. Thus begins a golden age for adventure and the start of the sixth age
