Worshippers of the hound gather on the night of a full moon and hunt down a sacrifice. A goat or a canid was preferable but any good sized animal would do. The heart and skin is removed and the animal bled dry before it's cooked. To eat it is said to bring the strength and blessing of the hound. The heart is set out on a silver platter for the Hound. The people who participated in the hunt are anointed in the blood which is eventually wiped off with the skin. Which is given the person who struck the killing blow of the animal.
Individuals will sacrifice smaller animals when in need of guidance or hoping for a blessing
The Hound will be called on if a person needs to make a journey to guard them and for their steps to be as fleet as its own
