The karpachi first came about during the silence before the defining roar of creation began to spread to the far corners of reality, as such they witnessed the dawning of many culture and people and helped them as best they could with out affecting their development too much, and in time they would have described things as somewhat peaceful, but eventually as all things do even this faded away, it was small things at first, something that could have just been misplaced but as time went on it was greater and greater things and they weren't just missing or gone but it was if they had never existed, and that's when the karpachi first met their great enemy, a reality eating monster that even with all their power they couldn't destroy, and so they began a an eons long plan to save what parts of reality remained, with the inevitable goal of simply recreating reality with out the enemy in it
